Living in a rural community can mean the emergency services may potentially take longer to arrive.

LIVES First Responders can respond quickly and provide the patient with potentially life saving care until the ambulance arrives.

When the LIVES First Responder reaches you, they are trained and equipped to provide care to you or your family while waiting for the ambulance to arrive.

If you are suffering from a life threatening condition minutes or even seconds can make the difference.

The volunteers give their time for free but the equipment and training is expensive.

As a registered charity sponsorship and donations are vital to ensure the local area continues to benefit from this service.

About LIVES

Navenby First Responders form part of LIVES the Lincolnshire Integrated Voluntary Emergency Service which has a network of volunteer groups all over Lincolnshire. Each group of volunteers is responsible for its own organisation, members and for raising the necessary funds for training and equipment. The group members are all volunteers from the local community who give up their time to train and be on call to attend any emergency calls within the local area, when requested by the ambulance control room.
